When This Busy Chef Gets Home, He Eats Freshly

Matt Broussard is an up-and-coming chef who’s cooked with Marcus Samuelsson and been featured on Zagat’s
30 under 30. And he’s a Freshly fan. Here’s why.

We were pretty excited to find out that a young chef was as big a fan of our meals—our Freshly chefs put a ton of work into making tasty dishes so we take pride in their restaurant quality. When we caught up with Matt, he gave us the rundown on his busy schedule.

“My schedule can be insane. Most nights, I don’t get home until 1 AM, and I haven’t even eaten. Instead of ending the day cooking another meal for myself, I pop a Freshly meal in the microwave.”

Between work and sleep, Matt also likes to fit in time at the gym, and Freshly helps fuel his workouts.

In the photo above, Matt turned our three-bean turkey chili into a game-day feast: extra cheese, a scoop of sour cream, and chopped scallions.
