Last night’s chili could be this weekend’s festive snack. Here’s a fresh way to eat your Freshly.
This is one of our easy appetizer secrets. These bite-sized, open-faced tacos are deliciously convenient and great for get-togethers, since your guests will be able to see all the ingredients that go into it. They combine hearty ancho chile and beans with fresh avocado, crunchy scallions, and cheddar cheese. Not only do these tacos look a lot more colorful than your standard appetizers, they take less than 10 minutes to prep, too. All six ingredients are probably in your pantry already, and are painlessly healthy for you.

Turkey chili (or a chili of your choice)
You can easily use our Three Bean Ancho Turkey Chili (one of our most popular Freshly meals) to make these turkey chili nachos. FYI – our chili comes freshly prepared (and not frozen) so all you have to do is heat it up for two minutes in the microwave. Our natural, ground turkey chili is mixed with black, pinto, and kidney beans, and seasoned with red pepper and spices. Another note: corn tortillas are traditionally made gluten-free (check your particular brand’s ingredient list to make doubly sure), or you can alternatively use lettuce wraps – a great and healthy sub for taco shells.
Step 1: Lay out your mini corn tortillas, and slather each with a hefty serving of turkey chili.
Step 2: Take freshly diced avocado, onions, and scallions and sprinkle over the chili.
Step 3: Top with shredded cheddar cheese.
Step 4: Serve warm, or cool. And enjoy!
